About

Bioorganic and biochemistry are my broad interests.  More specifically I research the mode of action of a lipid transfer proteins that move such molecules as vitamin E (tocopherol), sterols, and phospholipids from one membrane to another.  To assist with this work we also perform organic synthesis of fluorescent forms of lipids to enable tracking in the cell and in in vitro transfer assays.
